5 days Rwanda Golden Monkeys Trekking Community Based Activities Best Place to Things to know before going Golden Monkey Trekking Community Based.You will be met by an Rwanda Natural Tours driver/guide at the Kigali International airport. You will take part in a debriefing about the safari then drive to and overnight at the hotel Virunga (you may choose to sleep in Kigali depending on Time arrived at the airport).
After breakfast you will be drive to Volcanoes National Park. Upon arrival you will take part in a presentation on The Golden Monkey and a briefing by the Volcanoes National Park guides. We encourage trekkers to be physically fit and healthy. It is also important to wear good hiking boots, long trousers and gloves for protection against stinging nettles. You should bring snacks and sufficient drinking water as the trek is strenuous and the rainforest gets hot and humid during the day. You will spend one hour with the Golden Monkeys, but it is an hour you will never forget! After the visit, you will return to your hotel for lunch and later enjoy dinner and your overnight stay.
After Breakfast you will take part in a visit to Twin Lakes Burera and Ruhondo after this we will drive to Gorilla guardians villlage where you will learn more about rwandan culture in deep, our lunch will take place at Muhabura hotel and drive to Gisenyi for our overnight stay .
After breakfast you will take off for a morning boat ride on Lake Kivu. On the cruise you will have the chance to see a variety of birdlife and different water animals on the lake shore. You will also visit the Hot Springs and then return to the hotel for your overnight stay.
You will be picked up at your hotel and driven back to Kigali, with the short visit to the Genocide Memorial Centre at Gizozi. At this stop, you will also have time for interaction with local people discovering their artisanal products for sale. You will then transfer towards Kigali airport. This is where your safari will end.
