Itinerary of 3 Days Rwanda Wildlife Tour Package
You will drive to the east of Rwanda to Akagera National Topis in Rwanda Park after being briefed about your safari. You will have an afternoon game drive in the park and you will be able to see a variety of birds and animals such as elephant, giraffe, buffalo, spotted hyena, hippo, and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight at Camp/ lodge/hotel
After breakfast, you either go for a morning game drive in the park again or a canoe ride on Lake Ihema to see the large number of hippo, the huge Nile crocodile and birds. Dinner and overnight at Camp/ lodge/hotel.

You are allowed to stay with the gorillas for 01 hour as you take as many photos and videos you want and after return to the park office for your gorilla safari certificate. Evening visit to the Iby’wacu Cultural Village an eco place that showcase the Rwanda culture by the once gorilla hunters and now are eco – warriors. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight. An early morning breakfast is followed by a drive to Nyungwe forest. On the way visit Nyanza King’s Palace, the National Museum of Butare and Nyanza which was the headquarters of the ancient Rwanda Kingdom before the arrival of the Europeans. The compound has the modern palace constructed by King Mutara in 1934. It is tastefully decorated with the traditional mats and utensils. After breakfast you will enter the Nyungwe forest to track the Nyungwe colobus monkey. Early in the Morning at 04am Drive to Volcano National Park Headquarters for your first Golden Monkeys Tracking and here we are embark on a once in a life time experience of tracking mountain gorillas. Once you spot them you are allowed to spend an hour watching your closest long lost cousin. This is perhaps one of the most breathtaking wildlife experiences on earth You get so close to these awesome giant primates. You stare at each other blankly not knowing who to break the long silence first. Tracking the gorillas through the light mountain forest on the slopes of the Virunga is a magical experience then Transfer to Kivu Lake and Overnight at Paladis Malahide Resort.
After Breakfast at 8am or 9am Drive back to Kigali will visit Start historical-minded exploration of Kigali city with visits to landmarks from colonial, post-independence, genocide and post-genocide times i.e. Kigali Genocide memorial site where over 259,000 genocide victims were put to rest in mass graves, Dr. Richard Kant Museum who was the first Germany explorer to settle in Kigali, Belgian camp where they killed the 10 Belgian UN soldiers who were protecting the moderate prime minister before the start of genocide etc. you will also visits Kimironko Market and Others Craft shops for your Souvenirs, after all activity have maybe Dinner then after Transfer to the Airport for your Flight back Home.
