1 Day Gorilla Safari – Operator Rwanda.Regularly, this safari begins between 4:30 – 5:00 AM from Kigali. The guests wake up at 4:30 am to be able to shower and take up their breakfast in preparation for a lifetime gorilla watching exciting activity in Rwanda.
After a heavy breakfast, you will start at 5:00 am a two- and half-hour drive to the Volcanoes National Park, the only park in Rwanda that works as a home to the mountain gorillas. Move to Musanze going through the unmatched hilly landscape that qualifies Rwanda for a title of “a country of a thousand hills”. Upon arrival early in the morning at Musanze, you will go to the Park headquarters for briefing and shortly be guided by park rangers on how to stride looking for the gorillas in the forest. This movement in the forest is one of the most memorable experiences of a lifetime
At the briefing point, gorilla families or groups for safaris are allocated; however, some guests may be given gorilla families whose hiking to reach is easy. You will hike up and across the gardens and steep slopes with vegetation, enjoying some misty views of the nearby mountains up to when you will reach your hosts, the gorillas. After the trek, you will go to any of the hotels in Musanze for lunch before transfer back to Kigali, where you will arrive late afternoon or in the evening. This marks the end of the one-day gorilla safaris.

1 Day Rwanda Safari Virunga Gorilla-Rwanda Natural Tours, will pick you up from your hotel where he will drop you at the end of the trip or to the airport depending on where you prefer
On this one day tour, you will visit the Akagera National Park and us! The tour will take participants into the park to observe wildlife in their natural habitat, as well as visit the 5 spectacular lakes that are inside the park
This Park is home to a variety of game, it’s an exciting reserve and there are plenty of animals around and the birdlife is quite exceptional. Mammals include a healthy population of Elephant and Buffalo, plus 11 species of antelope including Impala, Common Duiker, Defassa Waterbuck, Bushbuck, Oribi, Tsessebe, Cape Eland and the rare Sable Antelope. Hippos are present in impressive numbers in the lakes and rivers and Zebra and Giraffe still roam the more open acacia dotted plains, you will starts form south to North at the exist of The Park then back to Kigali.

Itinerary of 1-day akagera national park safari
Akagera national park safari tour will start by Departing from Kigali early the morning at around 05 am to Akagera National Park which lies in eastern province of Rwanda, hugging the border with Tanzania.
We will use 2hrs and 30min to the park, it is a distance of 120km from Kigali. The game drive here are like opening a present and each game drive holds a full new surprise as nature reveals its treasures in form of wonders that are so scenic, the wildlife like buffalos, antelopes including; the elands, topis, Maasai giraffes, monkeys, savannah birds, civets, leopards, the hyenas, as well as the serval cats.
The game drives also mean that you will be accompanied by the guide who is so knowledgeable about the flora and the fauna that is found in the park. As you are carrying out the game drives, one should remain in the vehicle unless the park guides see that it’s safe for you to get out taking a look. For the longer game drives, you are advised to take a snack or lunch and a lot of drinking water. We shall spend approximately 5-7 hours in the park and return back to kigali evening at around 08Pm.

1 Day Rwanda Safari Virunga Gorilla-Rwanda Natural Tours, While on your Rwanda safari you can add an extra day to cycling your way in the countryside. The 1 day cycling tour in northern Rwanda will offer you a glimpse into the lives of the Rwandan people and its beautiful scenery of the Virunga volcanoes. This tour can be taken as an extra day while on your gorilla tour or Volcano hiking tour.
Today our 1 day twin lakes cycling tour will start early morning at 8.00 am from Musanze. The twin lakes are located in northern Rwanda at the base of Mountain Muhabura and close to the border with Uganda. The twin lakes – Lake Burera and Lake Ruhondo are surrounded by steep hills and large waterfalls with a backdrop of the Virunga volcanic mountains which gives this area such beautiful views. Lake Burera and Lake Ruhondo are separated by a 1 km wide strip of land with water flowing from Lake Burera to Lake Ruhondo, they have a combined area surface of 2800 hectare.
The tour will cover 17 km from Musanze town making it 34 km in total. The tour is through small trading centers and several villages. You will have opportunities of interacting with local people on your way, the children love seeing the cyclists pass by so they will be eager to share greetings with you. We shall arrive at the twin lakes and cross by canoe to the beautiful Ruhondo resort for our lunch. Fresh Rwandan coffee is available and you can choose to have fresh fish from the lake on your menu as you enjoy the views of 5 peaks of the virunga volcanoes of Muhabura, Gahinga, Sabyinyo, Karisimbi and Bisoke.
